Sarah’s artistic journey began while on a family vacation to Mystic, Connecticut, when she, at a young age, chose watercolor pencils and a drawing pad over a toy, setting the stage for a lifelong passion. She grew up to  pursue a career in design, studying to be a professional industrial designer, transitioning her career into digital graphic design over time. Despite pursuing a career in design, her true happiness lies in the simplicity of art. Reconnecting with her roots, she discovers joy in the simple moment when her brush meets the paper. Although she painted casually for friends over the years, it was her chance to illustrate a children’s book and a new found dedication to refining her watercolor technique that ignited the inspiration to curate her own collection of watercolor paintings.

Discovering comfort in the act of creation, Sarah uses her paintings as a form of therapy to navigate and alleviate stress. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, her creations are intended to evoke emotions of joy, wonder, and at times, love. Although her work often radiates warmth and prompts heartwarming responses, her ultimate aspiration is for her art to provide tranquility to those seeking solace.
